I am often told that being positive and thinking the best of others comes naturally for me—but let me tell you, that is far from the truth! It doesn’t come naturally. I simply choose to think the best about people until they show me different.
There are no perfect people walking this earth, and I’ve learned something beautiful: we’re all constantly evolving into better versions of ourselves. And no matter who we are or where we’ve come from, God didn’t make any mistakes when it came to the beauty of His creation.
And so, we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love, whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 John 4:16 NIV
God’s Love
God loves us with an everlasting love, and I am so glad His love never runs low and never runs out!
When we fully surrender to the heart and love of God, we’re giving Him permission to keep doing the magnificent work within us. He wants to fill us up—with His love, His grace, and the ability to love others the way He does.
There’s no need to question God’s love—it was already demonstrated in a way that blows the human mind. When we say yes to God’s way of loving, we’re saying:
“Come in, Lord. Rearrange my heart.
Take out what hurts.
Add what gives me life, hope, and a future.
And give me the capacity to love like You love.”
Your Best at Work!
I love sharing with others just how important it is to bring your best self forward. Every single day, we are given opportunities to provide a service—whether that’s on the job, in ministry, in our neighborhoods, at the grocery store, or even on vacation!
We’re strategically placed in these spaces to shine and to share. One thing I know for sure—sharing is broad. There are so many ways to give and live out the fullness of life.
Life is a vapor. That’s why we must stay ready and look for the moments to engage. We are often touched by the same touch in which we give.
